Saw some nifty news this AM about Cape Cod, where dozens of high school students are taking classes virtually. (Parked school buses, anyone?)
As with other virtual students across the US, the Cape Cod group attends Virtual High School, which provides courses across the US and at international high schools abroad as well. (See their map of participating schools here.) (We've reported on VHS several times before, and are glad to see them in the news again.)
When I was a student at International School Bangkok in the 1960s, I would have loved this option. Stay home with the ceiling fan on, not have to dodge the wild traffic, and not have to worry about the Principal telling you your hair was too long, either!
For more, see the piece in the Cape Cod Times.
